Hello, you ve likely described Mallory-Weiss syndrome. This a relatively common condition of esophageal tear and bleeding after vomiting. This is commonly related to alcohol consumption. It heals very soon, so after bleeding stops the patient is safe. Other possible etiologies include - bleeding from peptic ulcer which could recur and could be dangerous. - bleeding from hemorrhagic gastritis which usually heals within 24 hours. - no blood... It s better if you visited a doctor who could identify signs of bleeding. If you have ongoing bleeding then you re in danger. That feeling under your chest could be related to regurgitation of stomach acidic contents into the esophagus which may happen after heavy alcohol consumption. I hope I ve helped.
