What Is The Best Way To Remove Lesions?

Hello dr! I have molluscom in my genital area. I saw a darmatologist and she removed all of my lesions with this kind of a knife. Now like 1 month and a half later it came back! I went to another darmatogist (im traveling the world) and she used freezing method. She said its suppose to fall off in 10 days. I read online that it dosent work and the lesions will come back. What should i do?? I have like 6-7 lesions at the genital area. Plus, i was trimming my pubic hair and then found out about those new lesions. Before noting them i trimmed the hair between the rektom (the butt) and behind the balls, the shaving machine wasnt toiching the skin itself , just the top of the hairs and there wasnt a direct contact with the skin. Can i be infected in this area too?? I will appriciate your answer, thank you and have a great day!

Hi,

I got that you suffer from molluscum contagiosum. It is caused by a virus. It is a highly infectious and contagious viral skin disease. You have used multiple methods without result.

I use a method called electrocautery under local anaesthesia. It is a safe and effective method to treat molluscum contagiosum.

And take immunomodulator like Levamisole daily to prevent the relapse of the disease molluscum contagiosum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
