Unfortunately if you miss a pill for more than a day before you back it up, it is possible to get pregnant. So if you don't get your period this month I would do a pregnancy test.
But unless you miss two pills in a row, it is still unlikely you conceived. So start your next pack on time, and try to keep better track of your pills next time.
If you are having trouble remembering the pills there are other birth control methods that are hormonal that you do not need to take a pill every day. You can discuss these with a women's health practitioner in your area and obtain a prescription if necessary.
I hope I was able to answer your question and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes, Dr. Brown
