What Is The Alternative Clothes For Retts Other Than Gloves?

I am trying to help one of my patients. She has Retts and needs a special glove to help her when she digs into the palm of her hands. They will help to protect it from getting wounds. Custom are very expensive and they have one pair, but is there anything else that can help as a spare while the others are washing?

How about just purchasing a pair of womens GARDENING GLOVES? These are usually thick enough to prevent traumatic digging of the hands. Baseball gloves may also be similar tough not as thick, however, they are a bit more lightweight and many have velcro straps across the wrists so that one can tighten these such that they cannot easily get the gloves off.
