What Is Survival Rate In Stage 4 Lung Cancer In Bronchial Tube?

Hi, my boyfriend of 2 years now, his father has stage 4 lung cancer. It is on his bronchial tube? and inoperatable. My best friends grandma had the same thing and she only lived 3 months after being diagnosed... I cant bring myself to tell my boyfriend about that. He knows that his dad isnt going to be here much longer. I just am at a loss when it comes to comforting him, or consulting him. If you could help me find the words to say to him to comfort him, that would be great. He is a christian, so anything dealing with prayer and a better place would help too.

Since your boyfriends father has lung cancer stage 4 average survival time is from 6 to 9 months.
Aim of treatment now should only be basic supportive care.
We can only hope by praying to God makes his death less painful.
