What Is Right Axis Deviation As Shown In The ECG Suggestive Of?

Hi, i took an ECG and it showed that I have Right Axis Deviation. I m a 21 year old female and i felt palpitations as though my heart skipped a beat and also fluttering at the chest which cause me to cough to stop it. Should I see a cardiologist or is this a normal variant?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be a part of cardiac enlargement as a part of hypertension or other structural defects.

Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated.

You might require an echo test also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
