Hi, I have done semen analysis and got the report as vloume 3.0ml Liquificatio time 20 min Morphology normal04 % Abnormal 96% Head defect 50% Beck and mid piece defect 26% Tail defect 20% Ph alkaline Is it a normal semen report or is there any abnormality pl help

Hi,
Your semen analysis report shows vloume 3.0 ml. Liquification time of 20 min both these are normal. However, abnormal morphology of 96% shows abnormality. If an individual has less than 5% of normal sperm the prognosis for pregnancy is poor. Abnormally shaped sperm generally cannot bind to the egg or leads to miscarriage. Available therapy is ICSI/ IVF. You can get the repeat semen analysis done after 15 days for confirmation. Take care!
