What Is My Colonoscopy Report Suggestive Of?

Just had a colonoscopy. No polyps were found but did find this: Is this cancer possibly? How much to worry before lab comes in?? The total BBPS score equals 9. Findings: Areas of mucosa in the transverse colon and ascending colon had a subtle micro-modular appearance with decreased visible vascularity. Biopsies were taken with a cold forceps for histology. The exam was otherwise normal throughout the examined colon. Impression: - Mildly abnormal mucosa in the transverse colon and in the ascending colon of uncertain clinical significance. Biopsied. Recommendation: - Await pathology

A biopsy is not confirmative of malignancy. Don't worry. So please follow up with repeated colonoscopy scans. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
