What Is Heart Beat Heard In Right Ear When Lying Down?

I can hear my heart beat in my right ear when I lie down to sleep. Sometimes it is so loud that I think there is someone else in the room. Can you help. This has been going on now for about 6 months. I have had my Doctor check my heart beat and my ears and she cannot seem to find anything. Many thanks.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are feeling heart beat that is called as palpitation...

Your physical examination has been done and ear also normal without any growth

So I don't think you have to worry much, it could be physiological as well without any pathology

Blood pressure measurement and EKG done If you have not investigated yet for that

If specific cause found for esp. Hypertension than treated with beta blocker or amlodipine whichever drug is suitable

Hope this will help you

Take care
