I thought I was 7 weeks pregnant last monday when I went in to the OBGYN. They did a vaginal ultrasound and said they saw two gestational sacs.. Measured at 6.5cm, but no yolk sac and no baby and it was a 5 week 1 day pregnancy.. (I have had really odd cycles lately..) They did a HCG test and it came back at 1200, then two days later I had another HCG test in the 1500 range. I was told it was not a successful pregnancy and that in two days they want to do another ultrasound and if there is no baby or yolk sac then it should be ended. (that would put me on the ultrasounds clock at 5 weeks 5 days... or 8 weeks since the LMP. I am so upset... What is going on? I am sick as a dog and have tons of pregnancy symptoms increasing by the day.. LMP was 02/22/10, today is 03/17/10. I am 37 years old. I have had very odd periods over the last year due to cortizone injections for bursitis in my hip. Last one was four months ago.
