Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 29/F, 5 3 and about 170lbs. I have given birth to two children with no complications and have no significant medical history. For the last 6 months whenever I sit with my legs crossed for an extended period of time and I go to straighten my legs, I have significant pain and stiffness in my left knee. What could be causing this?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Stiffness of the knee can result from poor posture. I suggest : -Switch sitting positions often. -Avoid crossing your legs or ankles. -Stand up frequently. -Take short walks.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
