What Is Bone Loss Shown In Bone Density Test Suggestive Of?
My Doctor office called today to say my bone density test I had done yesterday showed bone loss. I have been having infusions of reclast for the last 3-4 years. I m presuming this means the reclast is no longer helping . They wanted me to see a endocrinologist .. What can I expect now? I will be 80 years old next month. But otherwise in good health.

Bone loss on bone density test is indicative of osteoporosis.You have been on reclast which is an anti-resorptive that can be given at both preventive and curative doses.Wanting you to see an endocrinologist will either be to modify your dose or change to a different anti-resorptive.
