Have you ever performed CPR on a real person? What was the outcome? I performed CPR on my colleague who collapsed in the office. We were from different department and when I got to his office, his face was purple and his mouth and eyes were open. There was no pulse or breathing. No one else was first-aid trained so I had to do it. It looked like he was already gone but nevertheless I did the CPR. I remembered the steps very clearly eventhough my First-Aid cert had expired for about 1 year. After a while, the paramedics and doctor arrived. Unfortunately he didn t make it in the end.

I scraped my knee on a hiking trail 2 days ago. The trail has lots of dirt and tiny rocks. I cleaned it with a cleaning wipe from a first aid kit then put a bandage on it temporarily. That same day i went into a hot tub, without a bandage over my wound. Today, I took a bath and after i got out, it started forming some sort of scab with yellow spots. It is also red around the wound and looks a little bit swollen. Should i be concerned? Is my knee infected?

It doesn t seem to be getting eirher better or worse. Not sure if I should seek medical attention or just give it time to heal. It is not affecting me when I walk, it is just very sensitive to touch.
