What Has To Be Done After Having Hairlike Painful Splinters From A Carpet?
We purchased a like new rug from a garage sales (owner sells and install carpet as an Independent Contractor) his wife refurbishes these rugs...anyway a week later a family member was dancing barefoot on this rug and she appears to have several tiny hairlike painful splinters. Should we just use an antiseptic and sterile tweezers?
Hi. As per your case of painful lesions on feet, my advice is 1. Wear a soft footwear and socks to avoid further lesions 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm on affected part. 3. For pain and inflammation oral NSAID like ibuprofen can be taken.
Thanks. Dr.harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
