recently i visited Karachi, pakistan. i was very surprised to see that my sister instead of using fresh buffalo milk used milk from Nestle s milk pac in my tea. she bought these milk pacs from shelves from a local grocery stores which did not require refrigeration. given Karachi s heat one can never leave fresh milk at room temperature for long. it will definitely turn sour in no time. I want to know what Nestle uses in their milk pacs to keep their milk at room temperature without turning sour. i happened to read the ingredients and was very surprised to find emulsifiers as one of the ingredients. i want to know what harm is emulsifiers doing to us and why do we need it in milk.
