What Does Yellow Bile In Vomit Indicate?

I have been vomiting up, what I assume is bright yellow bile every couple days for about a month now. I am waiting for my insurance to kick in so I have not seen any Dr. yet. The vomiting normally happens in the morning....sometimes evenings. I am not eating differently, not pregnant, all other bodily functions are acting normal and I feel fine except nauseous and vomiting! I am a 24 year old female, any suggestions??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The release of bile occurs when an individual is vomiting on an empty stomach or is suffering from bile reflux.

I suggest you do:
-A complete blood count
-An endoscopy
-A visit to a gastrologist for further treatment

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
