What Does Weakness In The Legs Along With Dizziness And Confusion Indicate?

My husband is getting care, but I am just trying to do a little research on my own. He is a VA patient and has seen a civilian neurologist who referred him to another civilian neurologist who can do more extensive studies. He has weakness in his legs, confusion, lightheadedness, forgets what he s saying in middle of a sentence or what he is going to do on his way down the hall, I have to speak very specific things, not just like normal conversation. Not sure what else I can say that will help. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, there is cognitive function alteration with your husband, which indicates definite intra cranial lesion of some sort.

I would like to evaluate it further with all details of lab analysis, MRI or CT brain for further guidelines precisely.

Thanks.
