What Does Warm Sensation On The Left Leg Indicate?

Hi - I have been having a warm sensation like something warm is being poured down the inside of my left leg. It starts on the right side of my left leg and feels like it s traveling down. I have a varicose vein under my knee and am wondering if it could be bleeding?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms can be related to the varicose vein.

I suggest doing an ultrasound of the leg to exclude the possibility of a blood clot.

The varicose veins can be treated in different ways.

One of the common ways is sclerotherapy.

I suggest consulting an angiologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
