What Does Variation In BP Reading When On Losartan Suggest?
My BP was high for the past weeks. I was bad in taking my maintenance pills. For the last 2 days, my bp was 160/105 flactuating to140/95 even with my meds. I was taking losartan 100mg and adalat 30mg 2x a day . I was not consistent on the adalat 2x a day. Yesterday my doctor up my adalat to 1 pill 60mg in the morning. Today, my bp falctuates to 90/60 to 112/68. When i take my bp after doing chores, it goes up to 135/80. I am light headed the whole day and i still have the chronic pain on my right side of my head which is contant on the right nape.
First of all, I would suggest you to check your blood pressure by doctor as there are certain steps to be taken care before checking blood pressure. Secondly, it is important to know your blood pressure tool as all tool are not calibrated well. I would suggest you to consult a doctor in office and check your blood pressure. A doctor can best decide to change the medication or continue the same with dose adjustment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
