What Does Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse Indicate?
Is it normal to start bleeding 2 or three days after intercourse and continue to bleed for a few days. I have been bleeding for the past three days now. It is a light flow, creamy, red and mostly it s pretty much just noticable when wipping but it does spott on my panties sometimes. I don t knownif I should be worried. I feel like there is a posibility that it is because my partner fingered me and might have scratched inside of me some but I don t really know. Km scared I may be pregnant or jave something wrong with me, I ve seen so many other women post about these things I just needed to ask a doctor if I shouldnbe worried
Bleeding after intercourse could be due to vaginal infection, cervicitis, mechanical trauma, cervix dysplasia. Creamy discharge could be due to mucus mix with blood. It is not due to pregnancy. I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab test and PAP smear if needed.
Specific treatment will depend on cause. For infection, clingen and lactobacillus suppository is required. Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar. Take warm water sitz bath with added betadine.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
