What Does Vaginal Bleeding After Discontinuing Birth Control Pills Indicate?

So I had my period the week of thanksgiving from that Tuesday the 22nd to Sunday the 27th of November. I had unprotected sex that Friday and Sunday of my period and my bf did ejaculate in me. Also on that Sunday I started my birth control but, stopped taking it 3 days later. Now I m bleeding again and have been for a few days does that mean I m not pregnant or is there a chance I could still get pregnant ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Since it appears that you had intercourse while on periods, it is highly unlikely that you could become pregnant.
What bleeding you are experiencing following stopping of birth control pills is breakthrough bleeding. When such bleeding occurs, it states that you are not pregnant.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
