What Does Tingling Sensation On The Finger Tip Indicate?

The other day my middle finger developed a bruise that spread down to my palm. I don t remember hitting it on anything. The bruise disappeared after a couple days. It then came back for half a day. Now the top tip of my finger is tingling for the past hour. I am a female age 49 and 200 lbs.
