General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are having tight feeling chest pain for which I will recommend you to investigate with simple EKG investigation and cardiac troponin estimation. If no ischemic heart disease present than muscular pain, indigestion gastritis, referred pain or respiratory cause should be ruled out.

Yes, you should consult a nearby doctor for the above investigation to rule out ischemic heart disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
