What Does Throbbing Headache With Swelling On Back Of Head Suggest?
My mom has throbbing headache for two weeks now. The location is on the right side of the back of her head. There is swell that can easily be felt, but her head CT scan does not show the swell. Her blood test shows that the CBC result is normal. Her blood test does not report ALT and AST. She finished her Hep C treatment 5 years ago. Is it possible that her headache is caused by the degradation of the liver? Thanks.

show to a physician.headache can be dueto migraine, high blood pressure.The swelling has not showed on ct means it is in scalp a soft tissue swelling i sub cutaneous tissues.An anti-inflammatory like excedrin PM may be taken as short course and fomentation with hot water.clonazipam 0.25mg at bedtime
Hepatic encephalopathy is different and patient goes to coma or delirium with altered consciousness, so do not worry.have her BP checked and consult physician
