What Does This Urine Test Report Indicate?

Hi, I had a Urine Routine and Urine Culture Test Today as I am having urinary problems since a year now. I got the report for Urine Routine Test with results as : 1. PUS CELLS ( 8-10 /HPF) 2. RBC S ( 4-6 /HPF ) 3. CRYSTALS ( CAL-OXALATE ) 4. EPITHELIAL ( 10-15 /HPF ) My doctor said this is all normal as of now and might be some bacterial infection and said he will tell after culture report is received which i will get after 2 days. My Question here is is there something serious Like HIV through based on Urinary Routine Report or something to worry here ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Based on Urine report HIV can never be diagnosed although in HIV and diabetes like condition urinary infection rate are definetely high

If you have suspected history of HIV through blood transfusion or sex than you can investigate with fourth generation ELISA testing in serum for HIV

For diabetes RBS like investigation done

After culture report antibiotic can be chosen if needed

Pus cells are slight high but that should be correlated clinically or with culture

Take care

Hope this will help

Consult physician for examination
