General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Before going to the report I want to explain you two important terms. Endometrium, this is the inner most layer of the uterus and this is the layer which is increased in thickness and glands are formed in each menstrual cycle of women. Once cycle completes and there is no fetus, this layers sheds and bleeds.

Myometrium is the layer beneath endometrium. Its muscular layer.

Normally there is a fine demarcation between the two. But there is a disease named Adenomyosis in which Endometrium grows and penetrates inside Myometrium and the demarcation between the two is lost. Endometrium grows like before in each Cycle and sheds like before in each menstrual flow of blood. But its abnormal. Symptoms may occur late, in childbearing age and includes enlarged painful uterus with heavy bleeding.

The report means that you have adenomyosis. You need to consult a Gynaecologist as soon as possible for treatment.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
