I think your doctor has written placenta anterior reaching internal os, ? placenta prévia. Normally the placenta attaches to the upper part of uterus. Probably in your pregnancy as it occurs in some women the placenta is attached low in the uterus reaching upto the neck of the uterus. That is why your doctor has written so. In most women the placenta moves up as pregnancy grows. Only in 1 in 10 women it does not move up and continues to lie in the lower part of uterus in the last months of pregnancy. This condition is called as placenta prévia. With placenta prévia there is a risk of bleeding in the third trimester. In order to find out whether placenta has moved up you need a repeat scan done at 30-32 weeks of pregnancy. I would have given more accurate answer if you had uploaded the report. If you have any further queries feel free to ask me
