General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Small amount of glue taken with fibrous food does not cause symptoms. But large amount of glue can stick in intestines and cause pain, nausea, vomiting an extreme possible thing is intestinal obstruction (when no motion or gases are passed out, nausea, vomiting and pain persist). In case of very severe pain, you should get investigated with advice of a surgeon (given after physical examination).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
