General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The following things could be inferred based on the report you have shared regarding thyroid function test.
1. Total T3: 105 is normal as the range is 80-180 ng/dl.
2. Total T4: 10.5 is also in normal range as the range is 4.6-12 ug/dl.
3. TSH: 2.25 is also within normal limits as the range is 0.5-6 uU/ml.
Hence, the report suggests that there is no thyroid gland dysfunction as reflected by hormone measurements.
It is always advisable to correlate the laboratory values with the clinical conditions. In case you do not have any symptoms suggestive of thyroid illness, no further investigation would be necessary as the report indicates that the thyroid is functioning normal.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
