What Does This Thyroid Blood Test Result Indicate?
Hello doctor. My wife is 25 years old. We married just one year before..she is lean..so we took thyroid testtest. The result is T3- 1.02 ug/dl T4- 6.5 ug/dl TSH- 21.44uIU/ml.Is it hyper or hypo thyroidisam? Which medicine has she take? ELTROXIN 25 mcg ok for this?

Reports mentioned by you is suggestive of hypothyroidism. Eltroxin is treatment for hypothyroidism and the dose depends upon THE symptoms and weight of the patient. If patient does not have any other disease starting dose is usually 1.6 times the weight. but it can be individualized by the treating doctor patient to Patient.
