What Does This Test Report Suggest?

what is mild loss of the normal cervical lordosis, spurring and disc space narrowing in C5 and C6? Also the neural foramen on the left are patent? there is mild spurring into C5/C6neural foramen on the right? The right C7 transverse processes prominent? And are any of these reversible? If not, what can I do to keep it at bay? Right now going to physical therapy. In a lot of pain. Thank you. Debbie.

Hello,

The radiological investigations shows that there is abnormality at the level of C5 and C6 vertebrae which lie in the back of neck.

There is narrowing of inter-vertebral space and bony spur formation which is impinging into the neural foramen from where the spinal nerves emanate.

This can lead to compression of spinal nerves and thus symptoms in the region supplied by these nerves.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
