What Does This Semen Analysis Test Result Indicate?
Hi Dr... I have 30 years. Married before 8 months. Recently I have done a semen analysis testing.as per my results, active motility is 08 % and my count is 58 million. Do I need to consult a Dr with my result.. or I can just neglect that? Please answer..

The interpretation of semen analysis report is as follows:
The sperm count of 58 million / mL is within normal range.
The sperm count should be at least 15 million / mL for successful conception.
The motility of sperms (both progressive and non-progressive should be at least 42%.
Motility below 42% is considered to be abnormal.
A repeat semen sample after at least twenty one days should be done with abstinence of three to five days.
