General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

No single medication can treat asthenospermia, as the underlying cause will need to be identified and addressed. Some possible treatments include:
* Hormonal therapy: If an underlying hormonal imbalance is identified, medications such as clomiphene citrate or human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) may be prescribed to help regulate hormone levels.
* Antioxidants: Some studies suggest that antioxidants such as vitamins C and E may help improve sperm motility.
* Lifestyle changes: Making lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking, maintaining a healthy diet, and reducing stress can help improve sperm health.
* Fertility treatments: If the above treatments do not improve sperm motility, fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) may be considered.

I want to let you know that there is no guarantee that any of these treatments will be effective. It would be best if you discussed all of your options with a specialist in male fertility, such as a urologist or andrologist, to determine the best course of action for you.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
