What Does This Scan Result For Severe Abdominal Pain Indicate?
Please help me my wife has been having a severe abdominal pain after carrying out a scan to diagnose her ,it was said she had fluid seen in pouch of Douglas also with mix growth of candida albican and staphylococcus aureus. Please how do we treat these infections and equally drain whatever mess in the pouch thanks.

I really appreciate your concern, if the pouch of douglas filled with some fluids then it no need to be drained, neither this is to be worried, as long as the infection is concern clinical symptoms are matter of concern, in silent phase of minimal infection may not need any treatment, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
