What Does This Scan Result During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hiii. Am mythili...Am pregnant .. of 8 weeks.. i went to doctor .. they told to scan.. in scan reportmm mean sac diameter about measures 1.29cm corressponding to 5 weeks and 3 days of gestation...Yolk sac seen (0.39 cm)Doctor told me to come after 2 weeks .. again scan will be taken.....If there is no heart beat for baby mens..Abort only will they do... ??

I have gone through your question and I understand your concern. It is quite common that in many pregnant women the fetal cardiac activity is not seen in early pregnancy. This is why your doctor advised follow up ultrasound after two to three weeks so that the fetus is big enough to be visualized at ultrasound. There is no need to worry at the moment.
