What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?

Examination shows the uterus is lobular in contour and retroverted measuring 10.5x 7.0x 9.6 cm, volume of 369.9 mL. There is a hypoechoic intramural mass in the right uterine body measuring 7.3x 5.9 x5.7 cm. The endometrium measures up to 1.5 cm in thickness. I would like to know what is this and what can be done ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.

This is probably mioma and this is benign tumor of uterus which usually grows slowly but persistently and may cause pain, irregular bleeding or hormonal imbalance. In severe cases it should be surgically treated but at this point this is. it required.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
