What Does This Pelvic Test Result For Prolonged Periods Indicate?
sir My wife is of 41 years old.She had a problem for last 6 month at the time of period which continues for six days.we have done USG and report is as . . .Uterus is bulky in size. It measures 9.86 cm (LS)* 4.41 cm (TS) *3.14cm (AP). Myometrial echotexture is normal. No fibroid is seen. Endometrium is thickened and echogenic in appearance. Both ovaries are normal in size, shape and echotexture. No adnexal mass.Mild collection in pouch of douglas.Impression: 1) Bulky uterus with thickened endometrium. 2) Mild POD collection She is also under treatment of Thyroid. Last 3 years no test for thyroid is done. Sir, pls suggest.
Please provide me with the bleeding amount. If it's not very much then earlier then that's ok as USG also normal and for thyroid problem get done thyroid function test and take medication according to test results. In some cases, there is a connection between bleeding and thyroid. So please get it right.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
