What Does This Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

I recently had a colonoscopy. My report states: Sections from the rectum biopsy specimens sho four fragments of rectal mucosa with increased inflammation including polysegmented neutrophils. Involvement of the glands by polysegmented neutrophils is seen although no well formed glandular absesses are present. Focal reactive atypia is identified. Sections from the colon polyp at the rectum specimen shows almost complete effacement of glandular tissue by a mixed acute and chronic inflammatory infiltrate. Abundant polysegmented neutrophils are seen envolving focal residual glands. Focal reactive atypia is identified. Please explain in laymen s terms.
