What Does This Chest X-ray Report Mean?

Hi, doc! My chest PA xray suggests right upper lobe densities, probably koch s infection in etiology of undetermined activity, and suspicious densities, left paracardiac region. Spot view indicates no evidence of gross parenchymal infiltrates. All my lab tests are normal including my WBC count. My last chest xray was 6 yrs ago & the findings were all normal. I have no history of PTB or PNA nor am I suffering from any symptoms of PTB. I only have Allergic Rhinitis. Doc, what could possibly be the explanation for this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
X-ray reports you have posted indicates pulmonary tuberculosis. It might have been there before but has manifested radiologically and been detected now.
If you have productive cough, kindly get your sputum examination done for Acid Fast Bacilli (AFB).
You need not worry much about this because tuberculosis is completely curable if you take the medications as advised.
Kindly visit nearest medical centre and take proper medications for your illness. Kindly complete the entire course. Taking protein supplements would also help in improving in your general condition.
Hope the information provided would be useful.
All the best.
