What Does This Blood Test Results Indicate?
Hi, my blood tests revealed that my aspartate aminotransferase is 154 and the range says it should be 0-35. What does that mean? How bad is it? Another thing is my alkaline phosphatase is 180, the range says it should be 44-135. There are 5 other high numbers that have to do w/my liver. My urea nitrogen is low & I was told it has to do w/my kidneys which has to do w/my liver. I need to know how bad this is, because I was told to see a specialist. I want to know more first. Thank you very much, I anxiously await your answer.

I really appreciate your concern, all the enzymes test results need to be correlated with the clinical conditions and it is directly related with that in absence of symptoms this is nothing to worry, some time it may happen without any disease, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
