General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Cancers are rarely painful, still if you are scared, you can discuss the thing with your treating doctor (who has examined you and got you investigated and observed the reports) and should agree with his advice. However, if you insist, you can go for the investigations which would satisfy you.

Ovarian cyst many a times is controlled by oral contraceptives and need to be removed if it grows more than expected or is a complicated cyst. That too would be decided by the doctor, provided you are in touch as per advised. The pain in buttocks can be from some pathology in joint / lumber spondylosis etc. Needs to be investigated to find exact cause followed by specific medication and lifestyle changes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
