Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

The hemoglobin electrophoresis shows presence of Hb D.
Hb D is an abnormal hemoglobin.
Marriage with boy with beta-thalassemia can result in various hemoglobinopathies so I suggest you to consult a genetic counselor.
You do not suffer from beta-thalassemia but you suffer from hemoglobinopathy with abnormal hemoglobin Hb D.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
