Hello and welcome to HCM, Management of renal calculi depends on the size and location of the calculi. A calculi of size less than 3 mm has to be observed and managed conservatively. Drinking plenty of water and acidification of urine helps to dissolve the calculi. Calculi bigger than 3 mm are usually managed surgically especially when they are growing in size. Presence of red blood cells in urine is due to bleeding in the urinary tract. Movement of calculi in the urinary tract usually leads to bleeding and thus passage of red blood cells in urine. Since, the size of the calculi is more than 3 mm, you should consult an urologist for clinical assessment and thus management. The response to ayurvedic medication is doubtful.
