What Does This MRI Result Specify?

MRI Results. Please help me make sense of the results. Cervical lordosis is flattened. Cervical vertebral corpus heights, configurations, sequences ar within normal limits. Cervical intervertebral discs are reflected in normal heights, internal signal distributions are natural. Diffuse bulging is monitored at C5-6 disc. Left posterolateral protrusion at C6-7 disc, spinal cord compressing from left to the dural sac and left C7 root compression is followed. In other levels of the intervertebral disc no significant overflow could create pressure on the spinal cord and neural elements. Neural foramina are clear, roots are monitored as free. The calibration of the spinal cord are in normal limits, the signal intensity is natural. Posterior vertebral elements, ligaments flavor and facet joints are natural. Atlantoaxial joint and craniocervical junction does not reflect property.

THir MRI result shows that you have left posterolateral C6-7 disc prolapse which is compressing the C7 cervical nerve root. The question is " Do you have pain, loss of sensation, or muscle weakness in your left neck, arm, foraerm, or hand? If yes, then You should consult a neurosurgeon who would assess your condition clinically, prescribe appropriate medications, and assess the feasibility for surgery.
