What Does This MRI Result Of The Left Knee Post Injury Indicate?

I had a fall on black ice in Dec that injured my left knee and was wondering if a grade 3 focal chondral defect to the medial femoral condyle and an enlarged plica would have been a result of that fall. I never had any previous issues with my knee prior to the fall. I also sprained my MCL and hamstring. Have you seen this before?

Thank you for your question.
I think that the osteochondral defect can be a result of your fall but not the enlarged plica. The plica is something that you were born with but did not caused you any trouble.
Now if the knee is swollen and painful for long time and does not get better, I suggest you to see an orthopedic surgeon as you may need arthroscopic ( with camera) surgery for osteochondral defect.
