General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The presence of few sharp spikes of transient elevation in Electroencephalographic readings indicate hyper activity of certain areas of both sides of cerebral hemisphere. That suggests that the drug is needed in your child to control future episodes of seizure activity at this points of the brain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
