Hello Doctor .I m a male, 36 years old. My first ECG in July showed slight ST Depression. I ve been always anxious about work and had a very stressful time with about 5-6 hours of sleep, working even during my vacation and constantly worried about work, personal issues. I had no chest pain, weakness etc - on the contrary, always full of energy. I eat less oily food, low on salt and lots of fruits, nuts. However, I m very fit. I spend at least 1 hour a day in the gym on elliptical, treadmill, jogging. My Doc mentioned that I should reduce my cardio to only 3-4 hours of week as my BMI is perfect. My Cardio advised my complete bed rest for a week, completely stayed away from my mobile, email etc. No medication as well. After a week, the ECG was perfectly normal. Lipid Profile: LDL (181), HDL (57), Triglycerides (138) Glucose (fasting): 99 My ECG from last year was also normal. I took a follow up ECG yesterday and the report mentions ST Depression again. Is there a concern?
