What Does This CT Scan Report Specify About The Pain In Arm And Finger?

I had a 2 level cervical fusion (C5-7) in January of this year. I m not fusing and still in pain. My latest CT scan says: Dorsal osteophytic spurring is seen at the C5-7 levels which partially effaces the ventral subarachnoid space and appears to abut the ventral spinal cord Whinat does this mean and could this be the cause of my pain? I also have nerve pain in my right arm and little finger.

Hi,

It seems the spurr is causing pressure on the nerve supplying the parts under trouble. You can have relief with rest for few days with anti inflammatory pills / injections, physical therapy. Most patients are helped by these Few of them need surgical management. Please consult your spinal surgeon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
