What Does This BP Level For Frequent Headaches Indicate?

My husband has been complaining of headaches for several weeks now, I bought a blood pressure machine and took his blood pressure. It read 153/99 should I get him into the ER? Is this pressure to high? Can he wait to see his PCP? He is 5 5 weights 250 pounds.

The blood pressure is slightly too high and he might need medication if it is like that repeatedly. He can see his PCP. Best regards
