I have thick white discharge after having a bowl movement. I am 54 and don t get my period anymore. But I recently had chlymidia, but am clear of that. My vulva feels a little swollen, but no foul smell, or itcyness. I did have some oral sex again.

Hi,

A thick white discharge after a bowel movement can be a sign of a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. However, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider to get a proper diagnosis, especially if you have recently been treated for Chlamydia and you recently had oral sex.

The swelling and color of discharge are just some of the symptoms that a doctor would consider when diagnosing the issue. Your doctor may perform a physical examination and run tests to determine the underlying cause and recommend the appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
